Payroll Specialist needed immediately

We’re urgently hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term position, required ASAP due to increased workload within the payroll team.
Supporting payroll across multiple European countries (approx. 2,000 employees), this is a senior, value-add role, not a purely processing position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Validating payroll inputs and gross-to-net calculations
- Ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely payroll payments
- Managing onboarding/offboarding payroll activity
- Supporting employee payroll queries
- Assisting with audits, reporting, and SOPs
- Driving process improvements and knowledge sharing
About you:
- 2–3+ years’ payroll experience in a multi-country / EMEA environment
- Strong payroll legislation knowledge (Nordics experience highly beneficial)
- Payroll vendor & HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to hit the ground running
