Job Description- Oversee and manage multiple infrastructure projects within the retail technology department.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Manage the relationship with all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Example of projects to be delivered in 2025 :
- Modern VPN rollout (ZTNA)
- Windows 10 - Windows 11 upgrade
- Move To Cloud : Onprem datacenter migration to Azure
- PAM solution rollout (Privilege Access management)
- SIEM rollout
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Infrastructure Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience in project management in the retail industry, particularly in technology.
- Highly experienced in infrastructure projects, ideally having managed global projects of Windows OS upgrade.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- A competitive daily salary of approximately £450-500 a day outside IR35.
