Principal SQL Server Architect/DBA

Your work will be varied and interesting, encompassing e.g, the creation and maintenance of high and low level designs for our databases and their underlying infrastructure, working closely with our solution and domain specialists as well as with our implementation teams and external suppliers to understand the needs of the database solutions, defining patterns and standards to ensure consistency, resilience, security, and best practice in the delivery and operation of the platforms.

The role will also encompass some elements of line management and team leadership (e.g. providing guidance and mentoring to more junior staff).
