General Science Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic Science department. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and develop their curiosity about the world through engaging and practical science lessons. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to [KS3/KS4/KS5] students
- Develop students’ scientific knowledge, practical skills, and analytical thinking
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments
- Promote a safe and stimulating learning environment in the laboratory
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and STEM initiatives
Ideal General Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Specialism or experience in General Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering an interest in science
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
