Working on a condensed rota pattern from 7:15am – 9:45pm on a 3 on 3 off basis, 50.75 hrs per week

As a Care Team Leader you will supervise the Support Worker team, ensuring an outstanding level of care is provided at all times. You will model best practice and create a fun, engaging environment for the young people. The successful applicant will have a natural respect for our young people, giving choice wherever possible and ensuring their best interests are at the heart of everything we do.

We are searching for a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader to join Northampton’s newest SEND Residential school. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with diverse needs whilst fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all.

Edgewood School is a brand-new residential school setting for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism and associated challenging behaviours. We have welcomed our first day pupils and are now looking to recruit a care team ready to welcome our first residential placements.

- A level 3 or level 4 diploma in residential childcare, or willing to work towards
- 2 years’ experience in a similar setting
- Ability to supervise and support a care team of up to 15 Residential Support Worker’s
