We are looking for someone who will support the Registered Service Manager, to implement innovation whilst maintaining a positive environment for both those we support and our amazing staff group. This role is ideal for those ready for the next step on the career ladder.

The South Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Hub offers a range of person-centred interventions and supports for individuals and families experiencing Drug or Alcohol related issues. The Hub has moved to a prominent location: 63 Carlton Place, on the south bank of the River Clyde.

As a Service Co-Ordinator you will support the Registered Service Manager with the delivery of the service. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high-quality person-centred approach is delivered. It's a chance for you to showcase your confidence in your own abilities to effectively manage a team.

The shift pattern is a mixture of either a three- or four-day working week to enable service delivery and allow for flexible working life balance, between the hours of 9am – 7pm. Previous working experience with the client group is preferred and previous supervisory experience is desirable.

Great leadership skills are essential to inspire your team through leading by example and delivering high-quality, flexible person-centred support while communicating effectively across all levels and with various external professionals.

We will make sure you have all the training and development you need to ensure you have the right tools to not only do a great job, but help you build a successful career within the foundation.

What’s more, you will be part of a foundation who's missions it is to improve and enrich the lives of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

The successful candidate must possess excellent organisational skills and IT skills. Experience of MS Office is essential, particularly Word and Excel.

An in-depth understanding and knowledge of the harmful effects associated with substance misuse in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employability and relationships is essential. Knowledge and experience of Outcome Based Support Planning is preferred.

If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
