Hays - Senior Data Analyst x4

Your new role
The bank currently has 5 large programmes of work in an array of different areas, such as operations, payments, cash movement/ cash flow, risk & regulatory and (general ledger - system work oracle in the cloud) and are looking for 4 senior data analysts/ technical business analysts to join their team as a specialist in 1 of the areas of a team of 25 which is due to grow up to 10 times over the next year.
What you'll need to succeed- A senior data analyst or technical BA with vast financial experience within T1, Investment Management Firms, Top 4 consultancies.
- Great communication skillset and experience in mentoring/ leading small teams and provide knowledge in the given field.
- Strong knowledge with finance functions and tools within end-to-end transaction lifecycle processes.
- Strong knowledge with data migration/ manipulation techniques.
- Great knowledge of process improvement with a track record of streamlining operational or finance process.
- Great experience with SQL.
- Profiecent with Python.
- Experience in data governance and implementing different operating models.
- Knowledge of risk and controls.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory functions - you understand the reg landscape.
- Strong knowledge of both financial markets and banking products such as transaction bookings, cash flows/ payments/ settlements and controls.
