Construction Officer - Compliance

Neway has a vacancy for a Construction Officer - Compliance to join our client based with Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council.

This role is starting asap, working 37 hours a week in an ongoing contract.

You will be responsible for Arranging and managing all the statutory testing surveys for the authorities’ buildings, to ensure full compliance with the regulations, (e.g. Asbestos re-inspections, mansafe system testing, safety glazing surveys, roller shutter doors and automatic doors servicing etc).

The manager is looking for someone with experience in Statutory Testing, they require someone who is able to manage all the statutory testing in all our council owned buildings, we have frameworks that you can use to award the work to the required contractors, and you will be responsible for aranging the testing for:

Asbestos, mansafe systems, roller shutter doors, automatic doors, safety glazing etc.
