Then Teaching Personnel's SEN Department is looking for YOU!

The SEN Team at Teaching Personnel works with specialist schools and provisions outside mainstream education, providing support to students with Autism, Moderate to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (MLD to PMLD). We're dedicated to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every student can thrive!

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working 1:1 with students who need tailored, individual support to succeed. You'll play a key role in helping students with Autism and MLD to PMLD develop both academically and personally.

1:1 Support: Provide dedicated, personalized support to students in a secondary school setting.

Adapt Learning: Help adapt lessons and activities to meet each student's unique needs, making learning fun and engaging.
Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create an all-around nurturing learning experience.
Promote Independence: Encourage students to develop life skills and confidence, fostering their independence.
Support Emotional and Social Development: Be a positive presence in your student's day, helping them build social and emotional skills.
✔️ Passion for SEN: Enthusiasm for working with students with Autism and MLD/PMLD.
✔️ Patience and Empathy: A caring, positive attitude to support students through their challenges.
✔️ Experience in a SEN Setting (preferred, but not essential).
✔️ Team Player: Ability to work closely with staff and families to ensure the best for your students.

✔️ Adaptability: Creativity and flexibility in responding to students' individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
