Job Description
Joining as a Trainee Accountant based in the firms Wellington offices you learn the skills to prepare year end accounts and financial statements for wide ranging and varied limited sole trader, partnership and limited company clients, along with assisting on tax compliance, bookkeeping and VAT.Your responsibilities and involvement with clients, wider accounting and tax project work will increase over time as you develop within the team and role and you will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professional around you, combined with study support on offer to pursue ACCA qualifications.
The Successful Applicant
You may be a graduate or post school/college. looking for a first career move into the accountancy sector as a Trainee Accountant with a clear, demonstrable desire to pursue a career within accounting, seeking an opportunity with study support on offer for ACCA.Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate reasons why they are looking for a career within accountancy with an interest learning and developing new skills, attention to detail, team working capabilities and the ability to be resilient taking on board the need to work to deadlines and under pressure.
