Shift Patterns: 30 hours per week, Mon - Thur 9.00am - 17.00pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of patient and specimen requests and results onto the laboratory computer system and / or automated analysers using DSE equipment.
  • Daily routine and specialised Microbiological diagnostic investigations on potentially infectious patient and environmental samples using manual and automated techniques.
  • Monitor stocks of kits, reagents and consumables and report stock deficiencies to an Associate Practitioner or Senior BMS.

What you’ll need:

  • HCPC registered
  • Practise as a Registered Biomedical Scientist
  • Microbiology Experience
  • A Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent.
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
