As an Admin Apprentice at Bitterne Park School, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting our administrative operations. You will be working alongside experienced professionals who will provide guidance and mentorship throughout your apprenticeship, helping you develop essential skills for a successful career.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Assisting with the management of student information and communication.
  • Supporting the preparation for school events and activities.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from parents, students, and staff.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Contributing to the development of efficient administrative processes.
  • Learning to use various software tools and systems essential for the role.

Requirements
  • A genuine interest in office administration and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational ability with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is a plus but not essential.
