Warehouse Operative
A Market Leading Utilities client based in Erdington require a strong Warehouse Operative to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative (FLT license preferable)Duration: Initial 6 Months
Location: Erdington
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm - No evenings or weekends required and an early finish every Friday!
Start: ASAP
Salary: £26,000 per annum - Plus extensive benefits (as below)
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with an array of practical operational activity and materials handling techniques including sortation, asset testing, pick/pack and dispatch, you will thrive on ownership and resolving problems.
- Uses new technology and systems both current and emerging to improve efficiency and quality of processes.
- Customer experience and team working is at the heart of this role, so it's likely you will have this in abundance along with a strong sense of ownership and ability to plan your own workload.
- You will exceed the expectations of our customers.
- A good attention to detail and maintaining an acceptable standard of data quality.
- An understanding of SHES policies.
- You will look ahead to anticipate problems and use your judgement and insight to influence positive change.
- You always think about the bottom line and if what you are doing will add the most value.
Requirements:
- Experience of using Mechanical Handling Equipment including electric pump, counter balance, reach/ VNA combi truck would be an advantage
- Understanding and knowledge of practical logistics processes & materials handling techniques (e.g. receipt, storage, issue and distribution) would be an advantage
If you do not have this experience, and are suitable for the job in other respects, training will be provided.
