We are seeking two highly motivated and caring Band 6 Physiotherapists to join our dynamic Pelvic Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and challenging role, providing specialist care to patients with a range of pelvic health conditions.
The successful candidates will have a strong clinical background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular interest in perinatal pelvic health, gynaecology, chronic pelvic pain relating to the pelvic floor and colorectal conditions.The candidates will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with complex pelvic floor dysfunction and pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Full-time / Part-time / Job share considered
As an Acute Trust, you will be required to work regular weekends (currently, for full time staff this is around 1 in 4 weekends – one day only) in orthopedic areas. Respiratory on call duties will not routinely be expected, unless the successful applicant has the ability to carry these out – so don’t let a lack of respiratory skills put you off applying!
Main duties of the job

JOB SUMMARY
To provide a quality physiotherapy service to NUH patients in a wide variety of settings which may include the community.
To develop knowledge and skills in the management of in and outpatients in musculoskeletal areas at NUH
To take additional responsibilities for specific projects and the supervision of Band 5 staff, Physiotherapy Assistants and Students where required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- BSc Hons Physiotherapy
- Member of CIG
Experience
Essential criteria- Possession of specific knowledge, technical skills and experience in MSK conditions
- Broad based junior rotational experience with both acute in-patient and OP areas covered
Analytical & Judgement Skills
Essential criteria- Ability to assess, formulate a diagnosis and plan patient management using clinical reasoning skills and a range of treatment options.
- Experience of evaluation of clinical interventions
Planning & Organisational Skills
Essential criteria- Effective time management skills
- Experience of effective delegation
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
