We are seeking dedicated SEN and SEND Teachers and Teaching Assistants to work in various schools across the region.If you are a compassionate and skilled educator looking for a rewarding role, we would love to hear from you!
THE ROLE
Depending on the role and school, duties may include:- Supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory impairments, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Delivering tailored lessons and interventions that cater to individual learning needs.
- Assisting with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and working closely with SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to ensure pupil progress and well-being.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
We welcome applications from candidates with any experience in SEN/SEND positions within UK schools. A wider range of positions are available for people with the following qualifications/experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Newly Qualified Teacher (ECT/NQT) / Unqualified with relevant experience.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- A relevant degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- NASENCO qualification (for SENCO roles).
- Team Teach, Makaton, PECS, or Autism Awareness training (desirable).
Previous experience working with children with SEN or SEND is essential.
