Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in secondary Maths
- PGCE
- Bachelors degree in mathematics
- Genuine passion for mathematics and inspiring the next generation
- Analytical and expert in problem-solving
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a range of maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Ensure pupils are engaged within their learning and encourage active participation
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils to thrive
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the maths department is a high performer within the school
- Regularly assess pupil progress and provide timely and informative feedback, condusive with pupil learning and development
- Contribute to wider school community wherever possible through engagement with extra curricular activities
