Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the option to teach Key Stage 5 if experienced.
- Lesson Planning: Design and implement lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills in areas such as programming, systems, and data.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and report in line with school policies to support high standards of achievement.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate within the Computer Science department to enhance the curriculum and share innovative teaching methods.
- Student Support: Establish a positive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and practical learning.
About You
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field. Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 is essential, with any experience at KS5 considered beneficial. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for technology and a desire to help students develop real-world skills.
