Field Service Engineer

We are a specialist recruitment agency seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected provider of handling solutions. With over 20 years of industry experience, they pride themselves on high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for on-site repairs, servicing, and maintenance of manual and electric pallet trucks, stackers, and order pickers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment remains fully operational, keeping customers' businesses running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out on-site repairs and maintenance on a range of equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance.
- Manage repair parts and maintain service records.
- Ensure high levels of customer care and communication.
- Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience working with technical equipment.
- Mechanical and electrical (M&E) background preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence (limited penalty points accepted).
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexibility Required).
- Holidays: 23 days + 8 bank holidays.

- Training: One-week initial training at the company’s HQ, followed by shadowing experienced engineers.
