About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a busy service in West London on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to integrate quickly into a fast-paced environment.You will be providing practical and person-centred support to service users, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 support to service users
- Assisting with benefits applications and claims
- Supporting with housing applications and related documentation
- Undertaking practical support tasks, including domestic duties such as laundry
- Helping maintain the day-to-day operations of the service
- Covering the operational support line during staff absence
About You:
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, practical support environment
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- No requirement to complete formal support plans
