We're seeking an Electrical Reliability Test Engineer to join a dynamic team for a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with expertise in automotive electrical systems, body electronics, and network communication tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage electrical function, performance, and reliability testing of body electronics systems and CAN architecture.
Identify and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending countermeasures.
Develop test plans, procedures, and coordinate vehicle specifications and transportation.
Lead validation activities and provide formal reporting to design teams and management.
Support production plants, test houses, and field investigations as needed.
Collaborate with suppliers and manage project timelines.
Essential Skills and Experience:
3+ years of automotive development experience, including body electronics (e.g., engine start/stop, lamps, wipers).
Proficiency with onboard network communication tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuit diagrams, and network communications (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Practical experience with problem-solving tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Understanding of electromagnetics, EMC test requirements, and RF measurement equipment.
Familiarity with digital oscilloscopes and related diagnostic tools.
