Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £11.45 per hour + £10 daily uplift when driving
TEMP TO PERM
Working hours: 38.75 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 07.00-15.30 (Flexibility required when driving)
Vacancy - Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver
We are seeking reliable Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver for our busy Client based in Yate working in a distribution environment. The role is expected to be a 70:30 split in favour of Warehouse work. Start times may vary from 6.00am-8.30am when driving.
Duties for the Warehouse Assistant:- Picking and packing of products
- Use of handheld scanner
- Some heavy lifting (up to 25 kilos)
- Loading of vehicles
- General warehouse duties
- Working as part of a team
- Van Driving - driving light vans (8 – 16 drops per day)
- Delivering equipment and consumables
- Responsible for ensuring stock and consumables levels are maintained with customers
- Updating relevant systems with information on deliveries and activities, tracking all KPIs.
- On return to the warehouse take undelivered goods to the relevant area
- Will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- To adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
- To respect company vehicles and always drive within the law
- To communicate problems, queries and customer requests promptly and in accordance with the line of communication issued
- Be a team player
- Will have previous warehouse experience
- Full UK driving licence
