Commercial Analyst (Early Careers Programme 2025)
We have a team of over 950 Two Circlers working from 14 cities across APAC, North America, and EMEA, serving our expanding international client base.
Our Rights Management division acts as a sponsorship sales resource for iconic global sports rights holders. We successfully market the unique emotion of sport, and rationalise the value of sport sponsorship using data, to drive commercial results for rights-owners and record returns for brands.We have led and closed over $1.2bn in sponsorship rights for some of the world's biggest sports properties, including recent record-breaking deals for UEFA Women's Football, New Zealand Rugby and Mercedes F1.
We aim to optimize revenues for our clients whilst allowing each to avoid the long-term fixed costs associated with maintenance of large in-house sales teams. We are focused on solving problems and not selling assets, and we are ambitiously expanding our clients, geographies and our sales team.
As a Commercial Analyst your primary role is to research and identify brands for potential sales opportunities and formulating an approach strategy. These brands you identify, may eventually become sponsors of some of the greatest sports rights holders globally!
Requirements
Responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with our Operations, Creative and Sales teams across our sponsorship sales processes
- Proactively identifying trends and opportunities within the broader sponsorship landscape, and establishing the most effective strategy for approaching sponsorship prospects
- Collecting and analysing data to support sales conversations and articulate our propositions
- Creating written reports that summarise sponsorship activity at both industry and brand level
- Supporting on strategic projects to help shape Rights Holders' sponsorship programmes
If the above sounds exciting, but something you've never done before, you are in the right place! All of these tasks can be learned on the job. There is no set-profile for an analyst, however, if you have these attributes, you'd likely make a great Two Circler:
- Growth mindset, seeking out feedback and always being willing to learn
- Diligent, client-centric, attention to detail
- Strong work ethic evidenced in both academic and extracurricular activity
- A commercial understanding of what businesses need to be successful in achieving their goals
- Proactive with a great self-starting attitude - able to undertake a task on your own initiative
- Research oriented individual with a passion for identifying trends
- Some experience of Excel and basic financial modelling understanding
- Being values-led, and a respectful and approachable team player
Though these are the basics written down, we will principally be recruiting for energy, values and commitment – both to Two Circles and to your career. Even if you feel you don’t tick 100% of the boxes but feel you could bring value to the role, we’d still love to hear from you!
