Job Description- Primarily to manage the processing of invoices and payments.
- Ensure accuracy in accounting & finance reporting.
- Sporadically assist in monthly and annual financial closings.
- Occasionally support in audits to ensure compliance with retail industry standards.
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Develop and implement efficient accounts payable procedures.
- Support the accounting & finance team in other tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Payable' should have:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and retail industry standards.
- Previous & relevant experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger roles.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
- An estimated hourly salary of between £16.45 - £20.56 GBP.
- Opportunity to work in a hybrid work environment on a split of 3 days in office, 2 from home.
