Job overview
  • To support the Weight Management Service (WMS) with the day to day running of the office. The team is multi-professional and supports people living with obesity.
  • To ensure efficient and effective support is provided to the Healthy Pregnancy Team, which includes general office and administrative duties to support clinical and assistant practitioners.
Main duties of the job
  • The post holder will act as first point of contact and respond to internal and external enquiries to the department or escalate as appropriate. These will be via telephone or email.
  • To be responsible for maintaining up to date schedules and making appointments
  • To be responsible for the day to day running of the team e.g. stock checks, ordering stationery and diet sheets, preparing resources for groups and clinics
  • To scan and upload patient notes to electronic records
  • To support data collection
  • To work independently and manage own workload within defined policies and procedures.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of secretarial or administrative procedures and systems, acquired through demonstrable knowledge and experience to Vocational Level 3 equivalent
