A thriving and dynamic secondary school in Kent is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join their permanent teaching staff from April 2025. The successful candidate will become part of a forward-thinking department committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring students to achieve their best.

The Role:
The Teacher of Computer Science will:
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.
  • Support students’ academic progress and nurture a passion for computing and technology.
  • Participate in the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in line with the school's ethos.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Possess a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level, including experience with GCSE and A-Level specifications.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Be passionate about teaching and committed to promoting a love of learning.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Show adaptability, creativity, and a proactive approach to professional development.
