• A Teaching Assistant within the ARB will:
• Be involved providing individualised support to students with autism,
• Assisting teachers in organising for and delivering lessons,
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work directly with a range of students who are on roll to the ARB, whether they are in the ARB classes, in mainstream lessons or learning 121.
• Support students to build a positive mindset and tolerance to a range of subjects and learning environments.
• Encourage positive attitudes and behaviours and support students in taking responsibility for their actions.

Grade 6 £27,899 - £30,060 - based on Full time equivalent.

• Has proven experience working with autistic students in a school environment, or potential through prior experience.
• Understands the importance of structure, high expectations, and nurture in helping young people thrive.
• Is organised, proactive and enjoys learning new skills to help others.
• Enjoys working in a thriving and busy team environment, demonstrates flexibility and a strong desire to support others.
• Be a strong and consistent role model to all students.
• Is first aid trained, or willing to undertake training.
