Band 5 Scrub Practitioners - ENT / MAX FAX TEAM
  • We are looking for enthusiastic staff to come and join our theatre General surgery team at St Georges.
  • We are interested in hearing from staff who do have experience in general surgery team and want to enhance their skills in these interesting specialists.
  • We do all types of general surgery cases including open, laparoscopic and Robotic cases.
  • We have 33 operating theatres between St George's and Queen Mary's Hospitals .

The main duties of this job role include:
  • Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensuring that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance to Trust's polices.
  • As skills and competencies develop, taking charge and actively participating in and contributing to the management of the theatre area or on a regular basis.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
