A Secondary school in Launceston are looking for a Science Teacher immediately start for ongoing supply. This is a full-time Science Teacher role, and you would be expected to come in and hit the ground running, therefore previous experience as Science Teacher at secondary level is highly desirable.If you are looking for a Science Teacher role then please read on. Science Teacher – Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Science.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
- Mentor and inspire students, fostering a passion for learning.
- The Science Teacher must build and cultivate positive relationships with students, encouraging good behaviour and engagement.
- Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.
- Adhere to and implement the school's policies and contribute to their supportive educational ethos.
Science Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Recent experience as a Science Teacher in a mainstream school setting.
- A relevant Science degree is desirable.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
