Job Description

As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Managing supplier relationships to ensure product quality.
• Conducting audits and assessments of suppliers and their quality systems.
• Overseeing product development processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Analysing performance data for trends and improvements.
• Reporting on supplier performance and quality to management.
• Facilitating the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

• Worked in a similar Supplier Quality position within manufacturing.
• An working understanding of PPAP.
• AIAG exposure.
• Strong APQP skills.
• Proficiency in quality systems and certifications.
• Strong communication skills.
• The flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe.

• A temporary role lasting 12 months with a possible extension.
