Fundraising Coordinator
Are you looking to get into fundraising? Are you an organised administrator and a proactive people person?An exciting opportunity has arisen at Prospect Hospice for a Fundraising Coordinator to support the community and events team.
Our fundraising team raises vital income to enable us to care for people with life limiting illnesses in our community. We do this through events, activities or other platforms to promote the Hospice out in the community and are passionate about providing an excellent supporter experience.amp;amp;nbsp; We are looking for a new team member to join us to help us achieve our goals and support our fundraising activities.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 (with flexibility required on occasion to support events and activities outside regular working hours). Full or Part-time applications considered, minimum of 28 hours per week.
What is the role?
The Fundraising Coordinator will be an integral part of the fundraising team,amp;amp;nbsp; providing excellent administrative support for fundraising campaigns, events and in aid of fundraising. You will also be responsible for the administration of accurate supporter records and bookings, responding to enquiries and cultivating relationships with our supporters and volunteers.You will support the team to meet departmental targets and objectives to drive ongoing stewardship and supporter engagement.
Working as part of a small, busy team there will be opportunities for you to get involved with projects and initiatives outside of the day to day administration, helping to expand your knowledge and develop your skill set.

Great people, communication and customer service skillsStrong organisational skills and a amp;amp;lsquo;can doamp;amp;rsquo; attitude
An excellent eye for detail
Good digital skills including MSOffice (Excel and Word)
The ability to be flexible and the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks
Experience in an administration role in fundraising, events/marketing or a customer services environment
Ability to understand information presented in databases or donor software systems.
