This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries.

In this role you will be responsible for safely carrying out operations to meet or exceed the daily input and output targets of the plant. You will be expected to monitor, control and report on critical control parameters, while carrying out regular plant walkarounds to assess the condition and capability of the equipment.

The ideal candidate will hold experience monitoring the operations of a plant and be eager to receive technical progression and transition over to the Renewable Energy sector. You should have full flexibility when it comes to your work schedule, including being prepared to work night shifts when required.

The Role:
  • Operating Anaerobic Digestion plant and associated equipment via a combination of automated (SCADA) and manual inputs.
  • Complete minor maintenance within the plant.
  • Full training provided into the Anaerobic Digestion plant functions and processes.

The Person:
  • Hold previous experience working within the operations of a plant environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Risk Assessments (RA).
  • Full flexibility is required including being prepared to work night shifts.
  • Full UK driving licence and able to travel to site in Dufftown.
