Whilst the post-holders duties will be primarily community based, safeguarding clinics and some community paediatric clinics are held within the Childrens Outpatients Unit at Colchester Hospital. There is also the potential to hold other specialist clinics here, depending on the applicants area of expertise.

The department actively supports continuing professional development of its staff including any additional training needed to help achieve personal and professional goals. Full GMC registration is required and Candidates are required to be up to date with Level 3 Safeguarding with at least 4 years post graduate training ideally with up to 12 months experience in community paediatrics.
