We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistants to join schools around Oxford for long term and short term. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning in Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to ensure students are fully engaged and supported throughout their lessons.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the educational experience of our students. This role ASAP in February 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons to Key Stage 2 students.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide tailored support.
  • Help students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning activities to meet their needs.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist with the organisation and supervision of school trips and extra-curricular activities.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and patient attitude towards children as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
