An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join a well-known manufacturer of high-end products on a permanent basis. The CNC Miller will be responsible for:
Setting and operating a number of multi axis machining centresProgramming from scratch and editing Siemens and Haas controls
Working directly from engineering drawings
Advising on possible means of process improvement within the machine shop and other areas of the company
The CNC Miller will have:
IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.Worked as a CNC Miller, Machinist Engineer, or Technician previously within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
The ability of independently programming using ISO or conversational controls
What is offer to the CNC Miller:
Salary £34,476 per annum- 30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 12.30pm finish Friday
30 days holiday including bank holidays
