We are recruiting for 2 Topic Leads within the Centre for Guidelines:
- Topic Lead – in Topic Hub 2
- Topic Lead – in the Quality Hub (leading on guideline collaboration)
Main duties of the job
You will be based in one of the 3 hubs within the Centre for Guidelines, you will work on a range of topics with teams from within NICE and from external organisations.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Lead high performing multidisciplinary teams and committees from across Centre for Guidelines in the development of a portfolio of recommendations and integrated content
- Lead on implementing new ways of working to improve the efficiency and speed of development to enable NICE to provide timely high-quality guidance to better support health and care professionals and the people that use health and care services.
- Work with key external partners to enable NICE to more efficiently maintain and expand its guideline portfolio through guideline collaboration.

Essential criteria- Post-graduate qualification in relevant subject and further specialist training or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of managing committees effectively

Essential criteria- Experience of leading a programme of work from planning to completion effectively
Skills
Essential criteria- Ability to effectively plan and manage complex projects involving multidisciplinary functions and work flexibly to deliver to a high standard with conflicting and demanding deadlines and/or unexpected changes

Essential criteria- Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices related to guideline development including the AGREE II instrument
