They are involved heavily in the property sector but will also carry out work in sectors such as Retail and Sports/Leisure. Their Glasgow office is currently going through a period of growth and therefore they are seeking a Grad/Mechanical Design Engineer (some industry experience required) to join their small, social team.

Role

• Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems.
• Preparation and review of documentation eg designs, specifications, assessment reports, survey reports.
• Implementation of detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment to establish status of the existing installations and gain sufficient information to recommend new/upgrade design proposal
• Report and technical note writing

• Post graduate work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
• Ideally have a full UK driving licence, to enable travel to sites as and when required, either as part of wider design team, or individually
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit is ideal
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Use knowledge of mechanical systems to carry out mechanical building services design
