Requirements

Azure AD/Entra Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage identity solutions using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)/Entra ID.
  • Handle user lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
  • Implement security measures including conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity protection.

Microsoft 365 Tenancy Management:

  • Oversee the administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Manage licensing, user policies, security settings, and compliance within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Ensure optimal configuration for performance, data governance, and backup/recovery processes.

Network and Firewall Infrastructure:

  • Design and maintain secure network architectures both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and ensure network security protocols are up-to-date and effective against threats.
  • Implement and monitor network performance, documenting and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Endpoint Automation:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for endpoint management using tools like Intune, JAMF, SCCM, or equivalent.
  • Automate deployment, updates, and management of software and operating systems across all company devices.
  • Ensure endpoint security compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure integrated system functionality.
  • Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing, compliance, and audit.

Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Implement monitoring solutions to detect and respond to infrastructure anomalies or security breaches.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Computer Science-related degree or comparable experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure AD/Entra and Microsoft 365.

Certifications (preferable):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CCNA, or related certifications.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security models, network protocols, and firewall management (Juniper or Watchguard).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services outside of Microsoft (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Intimate familiarity with zero-trust policies, configurations, networks, and/or tools such as Zscaler.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to mentor and up-skill team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
