Theatre Support Worker | Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
- Preparing the Theatre: Setting up surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the surgery.
- Patient Care: Moving patients on trolleys and preparing patients for anaesthesia.
- Stock Management: Making sure the department has all the necessary supplies and managing stock levels.
- Support During Surgery: Assisting the surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary instruments and equipment.
- Post-Surgery Duties: Moving patients on trolleys to the ward, cleaning and tidying theatre areas after surgery, disposing of waste, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Checking patients into theatre reception, receiving handovers from ward staff, and preparing patient records.
