We are seeking a 3rd Line WAN Network Support & Project Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This role is essential for configuring SRX series routers to meet tight project deadlines and supporting BAU operations, ensuring the global delivery of secure network services.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Configure and manage Juniper SRX and MX platforms to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Provide advanced network support and troubleshoot complex issues within the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement network solutions that enhance service delivery.
• Monitor network performance, ensuring reliability and security across global operations.
• Guide and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and skilled team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with strong expertise in Juniper SRX and MX platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Junos OS and comprehensive CLI exposure.
• Advanced understanding of routing and switching protocols.
• Expertise in configuring and tuning BGP, including policy-based routing, attribute manipulation, and load-balancing techniques.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting IPSEC VPNs and MPLS networks.
• Familiarity with PKI infrastructure and certificate-based VPN authentication.
