We are seeking a motivated professional with:- Proven experience with Pathology information systems, ideally LIMS.
- A background in Pathology and/or healthcare systems management.
- Strong project management skills and a proactive approach to service development.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage a team effectively.
- The ability to deliver high-quality, efficient IT services while supporting ongoing improvements.
- Be a key member of the Pathology management team, driving innovation in healthcare IT.
- Work in a collaborative and supportive environment across all NWAFT sites.
- Lead and shape the future of IT services in Pathology, contributing to patient care and Trust success.

Key responsibilities include:- Managing the day-to-day operations of Pathology IT systems, including third-party support and maintenance services.
- Providing line management and leadership for the Pathology IT team.
- Delivering efficient, safe, and effective IT services that comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the Pathology lead in managing the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Driving service improvements, enhancing efficiency and identifying income generation opportunities.
- Engaging in service development projects and supporting data analysis initiatives.
