Aircraft Cleaner - Day Shifts - Luton Airport

Job Title: Aircraft Cleaner

What's on offer:

• Rate of pay: £11.50 per hour
• Location: Luton Airport
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday each week
• Shift Time:
• Days: 07:00am to 16:30pm
• Start date: ASAP
• Temp to Perm (Performance Based)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deep cleaning mostly interior but sometimes exterior as well
• Only working inside TUI hanger which is a warm environment so won’t be exposed to the elements during winter
• Carry out security checks on the aircraft as required.
• Clean the aircraft cabin area including hoovering, dusting
• Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Check and replace head-rest covers, blankets, headphones, toiletries and seat-pocket items
• Clean aircraft kitchens (galleys)
• Clean and restock toilets
• Full paid training provided
• Uniform provided

Shifts:

• Candidates will be working on the following shift pattern, all shifts are 9 hours with a 1 hour break: Please find shift pattern and timing below:
• Monday : 07:00-16:30
• Tuesday : 07:00-16:30
• Wednesday : 07:00-16:30
• Thursday : 07:00-16:30
• Friday: 07:00-16:30
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: OFF

Skills and Experience:

• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal communication skills
• Preferably staff to be able to work days and nights
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided
• Right to Work in the UK
• Five year fully checkable reference history
• Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
