Health and Social Care Lecturer

Location: Birmingham

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Health & Social Care Lecturer at one of the largest colleges in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of students and contribute to the advancement of health and social care education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in health and social care subjects.
• Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students, including one-on-one tutoring and mentoring.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in health and social care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Requirements:

• A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) is highly desirable.
• Previous teaching experience in a further or higher education setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
