About the Role

Marks Consulting Partners is recruiting for an Independent Living Officer on behalf of a reputable organization based in Surrey. This rewarding role involves supporting individuals to maintain their independence, ensuring they receive tailored guidance and access to resources that enhance their quality of life.

• Provide advice and support to individuals, empowering them to live independently.
• Conduct assessments to identify support needs and develop action plans accordingly.
• Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals to coordinate and deliver effective support.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users by adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, assessments, and plans.
• Promote access to community resources, including housing, healthcare, and financial assistance.
• Conduct home visits and attend meetings as required.

• Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (essential).
• Experience in a similar role within a housing, social care, or community support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
