Integrated Sexual Health Services Matron | Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Integrated Sexual Health Services Matron is responsible for delivering a comprehensive health advisory service across the Integrated Sexual Health Service. This role involves providing extensive training and health promotion programs to all nursing team members, ensuring consistency in training resources, client information, and advice throughout the service.
Key Responsibilities:- Health Advisory Services: Offer expert health advice and support to clients, addressing a wide range of sexual health issues.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for the nursing team, ensuring all members are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Health Promotion: Lead health promotion initiatives aimed at educating clients and the community about sexual health, prevention, and wellness.
- Consistency in Information: Ensure that all training materials, client information, and advice provided are consistent and aligned with the latest guidelines and best practices.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Quality Assurance:Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain high standards of care.
