Salary: Up to £28,000 P/A DOE
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client, based in Dover, on a permanent basis. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of Logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities while planning shipments based on customer requirements.
- Escalate transport delays and issues to the Team Leader, providing resolution options for client communication.
- Collaborate with the supplier management team to address carrier coverage gaps and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
- Analyse logistics data for improvement opportunities, maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrated experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a comparable position
- Proven track record of effectively resolving issues
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficient administrative and technical skills
