What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who shares our values to join our committed team, working to ensure that we serve our children and communities to the best of our abilities. No day will be the same and you will work alongside a highly caring and compassionate team to support our most vulnerable families at Ellacombe.

This role includes an element of school administration, including dealing with telephone and email queries, maintaining safeguarding procedures and all nursery administration such as Free School Meals and Pupil Premium applications.

Working alongside our existing administrator and family support team, you will also work closely with children and families to provide early intervention, support, and guidance. By building relationships with families and supporting them to raise attendance levels, you will be helping to remove barriers to learning and ensure every child, even the most vulnerable, can flourish.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates would need to be available at the start and end of the school day.

Our ideal candidate will be a passionate and dynamic practitioner with previous experience of supporting families and communities to empower change. This role lends itself to someone who is highly motivated, with a wide range of administrative and interpersonal skills.

You’ll be happy to work independently whilst following processes, as well as collaboratively as part of the wider Trust team and with external agencies. Our ideal candidate will be extremely organised with a keen eye for detail, who can be calm whilst prioritising their work and can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
