Ensuring all commercial and contract aspects of the relevant projects are properly managed and controlled in an efficient manner to ensure positive cashflow and maximum margin.
Key skills/Experience: Preferably RICS / CICES or working towards chartership.
Experience of working for a Principal Contractor.
Effective planning / organisational skills, noting contract timescales & client standards. •Experience with tendering subcontract works.
Excellent IT skills, strong in the use of Microsoft; Excel, Word & PowerPoint. • Ability to read drawings and construction design information.
Experience of liaising successfully with Clients and manage difficult situations.
Knowledge of measurement and valuation techniques, inc methods of measurement.
Knowledge of standard forms of contract inc various NEC & JCT forms.
Knowledge of current construction legislation particularly within Civil Engineering and Rail SectorsExperience of managing people, inc difficult conversations to maintain performance.
Ability to assess complex information, question findings and communicate issues with accuracy.
