Job Role:
A co-ordinator who will be working directly with drivers in arranging their daily collection rounds.
Need to be computer literate with strong organisational, communication and numerical skills.
Having a good geographical knowledge of the UK would be advantageous.
Previous experience in a similar role is essentail.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle all telephone calls
- Manning electronic gates with intercom and barrier
- Booking all onsite visitors in / out: recording vehicle registrations, tanker details, company details etc.
- Scheduling and allocating the day to day collection rounds to the drivers (drivers packs, spreadsheet etc)
- Arranging floats for drivers to cover their daily collection rounds and balancing the cash flow thereafter
- Inputting daily collections on the system (weighbridge tickets and waste transfer notes)
- Arranging quarterly payments for suppliers on account
- Scanning and sending through paperwork to suppliers
- General filing of supplier’s paperwork, delivery notes, invoices etc.
- Identifying and capturing potential customers through various channels to grow the company's customer base.
- Assisting in other departments as and when required as and when to assist in other departments
Office hours:Monday to Friday
09:00- 17:00hrs- 5hr lunch break.
The role may require flexibility from time to time.
Authorised overtime will be paid.
