Here at Avondale lodge, we support residents that have a range of needs such as autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Our aim is to assist them within their daily lives to develop new life skills, achieve their ambitions and goals and for them to continue to be valued members of the community.
What you’ll be doing:- You will work as part of a team, ensuring a safe and caring supportive environment is maintained, which meets the individual and group needs of the people that live with us.
- Helping to settle the people we support, being that friendly face and somebody to talk to should they wake through the night.
- The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, reviewing care plans, risk assessments and monthly reports.
- Induction and training will take place during the daytime.
- The role requires a motivated and creative individual.
- Full flexibility is needed.
- A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
