Senior Electrical Engineer
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing Building Services Electrical systems, including cable sizing and lighting layouts. Your work will primarily involve projects for pharmaceutical and research clients, where you will be involved in site visits, data gathering, and producing technical specifications.
As a Senior Engineer, you will report to the Section Head (Electrical) and work alongside a team of dedicated professionals. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the growth of the company by ensuring quality standards are met on all projects.
In addition to the duties outlined in the job advert, you will also be responsible for liaising with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from the conceptual stage through to completion, ensuring that all electrical systems are designed to meet the needs of the client.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience designing Building Services electrical systems.
- Experience working with AutoCAD & Revit.
- Experience checking deliverables against Building Regulations and other relevant standards.
- Degree in Electrical Building Services highly desirable.
- Chartered Status and Membership of a recognised professional Institution is highly desirable.
- Project management experience is highly desirable. ul>
You will be required to provide technical support to various departments in the business including business development, field staff and contractors.
